Indibet app and APK: where the real file comes from and how to log in
· checked by Tejal Karmarkar
The Indibet app for Android is an APK you install from the bookmaker's own app page on indibet.in, not from Google Play. Once installed, it opens the same sportsbook account as the website, so the app login is your usual username or mobile number and password. Files called INDIBET in download catalogues are a different matter: some of them are not betting apps at all.

Independent guide to the Indibet login
Where does the Indibet APK come from?
Real-money betting apps in India are rarely in the Play Store, so bookmakers hand out an APK from their own site. For Indibet that means the app page on in.indibet.in. The file downloads through your browser and Android asks for permission to install apps from that browser — a one-time switch you can turn off again afterwards.
If the sportsbook address shows "403 Forbidden", its app page will not open either. That is the moment people go looking elsewhere, and it is the moment the wrong file gets installed.
Why do apps called INDIBET in catalogues look different?
Because the name on a download page is just a label someone typed. A search for the Indibet APK in early October 2026 turned up:
- a coin-flip toy app listed as INDIBET for Android in a large software catalogue, made by a developer that has nothing to do with the bookmaker, according to the catalogue's own description;
- a live-score app whose package name says it is about scores, not betting;
- mod mirrors offering "Indibet APK" with version numbers like 0.2.0 and 1.0.2 and no link back to the bookmaker.
None of these signs in to an Indibet account. At best they waste your time; at worst a page that asks for your Indibet password inside a file you cannot trace has just collected it.
How do you check an Indibet APK before installing?
Four checks, each under a minute:
- 1Where did the download start? The download should begin on an indibet.in page whose address you typed yourself — never from a chat forward or a mirror.
- 2What does Android call it after install? The installer shows the app's name and its publisher line. A random developer name or a scores app is your answer.
- 3What does it ask for? A betting app needs internet, notifications and maybe storage for updates. One that wants your contacts, SMS reading or accessibility control is not the app you wanted.
- 4What does it open? The first screen of a genuine app is the sportsbook lobby. A coin, a score ticker or an immediate "enter password to unlock" screen means delete it.
How does Indibet app login work?
The app is a window onto the same account as in.indibet.in. Log in with the same username or mobile number and password; the balance, open bets and bonus status are the same as on the site. Two practical differences:
- The app can remember you on one phone. Turn that off on a shared device.
- Updates come as a new APK from the same page, not through the Play Store. An "update" pushed to you through a message is not one.
The exchange on ex.indibet.in is a separate door; the app opens the sportsbook side. If you trade on the exchange, you will still use the browser for that — see the exchange guide.
What about iPhone?
There is no APK route on an iPhone. Open the site in Safari; Share → Add to Home Screen gives you an icon that behaves like an app. Any "Indibet for iOS" file outside the App Store is a profile or a web shortcut, not an app, and should not ask for a password before the real login page.
Is there another app if the Indibet file will not download?
The button on this guide leads to a separate platform's sports lobby, which has its own Android app and a browser version for everything else. Different company, different account. A first deposit there is matched 500%, paid out in slices against a sixty-times turnover — the bonus page spells out each slice. If you came for Indibet specifically, the login guide covers what to do while its address refuses to load.
